Recently, one of Australia’s largest Iron Ore mining giants in the Pilbara discovered how difficult it was for their workers to navigate their existing complex document management system. To rectify the problem, the organisation deployed 10 TIKS kiosk solutions across its organisation to help address the needs of employees who do not have computers, helping them access key company information and procedures. As one of the largest employers of contractors in Australia, the company also faced the constant challenge of providing employees with the most relevant and up to date information. Using TIKS, the mining giant could now ensure that employees could perform their job not only in the most efficient way, but in the safest manner possible too.
